Created in 2007 and first taking place in 2008, The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch is the City of London's hottest annual event that raise money to help those who have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces, worldwide from WWII to the present.

This year, The B3CF, a long-standing partner and supporter of The Big Curry Lunch, is organising the first international satellite event in Finland aimed to raise additional funds and support HM veterans, of which there are a growing number permanently residing in Finland.

These veterans include armed forces personnel from the army, navy, and air forces of all present and former Commonwealth Realms.

Membership of The HM Armed Forces Veterans Finland (HMAVF) covers those who have served from 1949 to most recently those in Iraq and Afghanistan.

-      Playback of video greetings from Vice-Chairmen Michael Hockney and Lord Mayor of The City of London.

-      Presentation of HMAVF's activities

-      Recording of video greetings to LMBCL attendees in London from veterans group in Finland.

-      Prize raffle

Dress Code: Business formal / Lounge Suit and Military Uniform. Medals and Decorations may be worn.

Tickets: €100 per person. Proceeds go to Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch Charity.

Tickets availability: The number of seats is limited and offered on first come first served basis.

Health and Safety:
The B3CF team will address health and safety issues in a diligent manner. Face masks are not required and will not be provided, however, guests are welcome to bring their own masks if they wish. Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the venue.
