On Wednesday 26th August, The B3CF hosted its Annual Garden Party at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Helsinki. Each year, our members and partners gather for this wonderful occasion for an end of summer celebration in one of the most beautiful gardens in Helsinki.

On 26th August, The B3CF will host its Annual Garden Party at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Helsinki. Each year, our members and partners gather for this wonderful occasion for the end of summer celebration in one of the most beautiful gardens in Helsinki.

The Garden Party is the traditional, highlight event of the year, where B3CF welcomes members and invited guests back from their holidays to kick start another season.

Like all our events, this event brings our members, Ambassadors, stakeholders and partners together to celebrate and strengthen the relationships within our associations, in the relaxed setting of a great garden. Each year the garden party is attended by leading business persons, civil servants, diplomats and politicians, all connected to The Commonwealth and Nordic-Baltic family and communities.

Important Notice:

Availability:
The event is strictly for B3CF members and invited guests only. Owing to the Embassy's regulations, the number of participants is strictly limited to 120 people. All B3CF paid members are entitled to 2 free tickets. The number of tickets is limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are late to register, you may put your name on the waiting list. The B3CF Team will contact you if we have available tickets.

No-show:
If you know that you cannot make it to the event, please inform the organiser (B3CF) as soon as possible, so we can release your place to guests on the waiting list. There is a 'No-show fee' of 150 EUR applicable in case of no-show on the day, unless the organiser (B3CF) is informed about the absence of a guest no later than 9 a.m. of the day before the event.

Dress code:
Chic Decontracté / Formal smart casual. Please be aware that is the lawn is soft, high heeled shoes may prove unsuitable.

Time:
The doors will open at 3.45 pm, with the party kick-off at 4pm. Carriages at 6.30 pm. All guests must leave the territory of the British Embassy by 7 pm.
The official After Party will be organised at Hard Rock Cafe Helsinki.

Food and drinks:
Guests will be served a variety of finger foods, cocktails, water, and soft drinks. No bars nor buffets will be organised owing to current health and safety concerns. Bringing your own food and drinks is not permitted.

Raffle:
A prize raffle will take place during the event. Tickets may be purchased on the day.

Security:
Prior registration to the event is obligatory, before Friday 21st August 2020. All guests are required to bring their photo ID on the day. Guests without prior registration and ID will not be allowed to enter.

Health and Safety:
The B3CF team and the Embassy staff will address health and safety issues in a diligent manner. Face masks are not required and will not be provided, however, guests are welcome to bring their own masks if they wish. Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the venue.
We ask you not to come to the event if you are unwell or have any symptoms of flu.
