Our recent maritime event, the Welcome (Finnish) Summer Reception, dedicated to our distinguished members, offered an unforgettable experience on the water. Despite changing weather conditions, it turned out to be a remarkable day that showcased the resilience and camaraderie of our community. Initially greeted by cloudy skies, we soon found ourselves navigating through rain while at sea. This challenging weather mirrored the spirit of a true seaman, akin to the perseverance required in business. Our determination paid off as the sun emerged, rewarding our journey back with the warmth of a perfect summer day.
The event took place aboard the Bennington, an exceptional and brand-new product on the market. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the pinnacle of maritime luxury and innovation with Bennington's latest nautical creations. Moreover, the event provided a unique floating setting for networking, allowing chamber members to connect and forge valuable relationships against the backdrop of panoramic water views.
This event marked the conclusion of our 2024 H1 events programme, and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing everyone in August when we kick off the new season at our Annual Garden Party at the British Ambassador's residence.
