On Friday 7th of March 2025, the British & Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland (B3CF) had the pleasure of celebrating International Women’s Day in collaboration with Indian Women in Finland Ry and the Embassy of India in Finland. The event brought together a diverse group of professionals, thought leaders, and change-makers for a meaningful discussion on “Inclusive Future & Impact.”
The panel discussion, expertly moderated by Tzvete Doncheva, who travelled from London for the occasion, featured distinguished speakers Kalpana Jha, Anand Adhiappan, Cecilia Naadensua Q., and Ulla Keino. Their insights on diversity, leadership, and tangible actions for inclusion resonated strongly with the audience. A particularly thought-provoking takeaway came from Kalpana Jha, who reminded us that “We are equally valued and diversely unique.” These words captured the essence of the event—recognising the value of every individual while embracing the richness of our differences.
We were honoured to welcome Ambassador Hemant Kotalwar and Tuula Haatainen, MP, who shared their perspectives on advancing gender equality and the importance of sustained efforts to create inclusive opportunities for all. Their presence and contributions underscored the significance of international cooperation and shared commitment to empowering women.
A special appreciation goes to sponsors of the event, Rödl & Partner, and Routa Digital, and to the team of the Plaza Wine and Craft Beer for excellently hosting the event. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success. The event was wonderfully captured by Sudhanshu Verma.
