On 11th April 2019 the B3CF International Advisory Board meeting was hosted by HE Carmen Smidt, Ambassador of South Africa, at the Official Residence in Finland.
Crucial input from HE Carmen Smidt, HE Jason Tollland Ambassador of Canada, HE Tom Dodd Ambassador of the UK and Hon. Life Vice President Pekka Huhtaniemi was greatly appreciated, providing essential guidance for B3CF’s activities.
Suggestions from the Commonwealth Ambassadors about how to collaborate on future events as well as how to reach out further to the Commonwealth diasporas all over Finland will help B3CF promote business to and from Finland with Commonwealth countries.
B3CF Board members were also in attendance and were involved in discussions covering many topics from trade, tourism, and current affairs. All guests were delighted by the delicious South African wines and menu, a true experience, whisking them from the shores of Helsinki to sunny Cape Town.
This annual meeting takes place to ensure that we at B3CF deliver the best service to our members and to give our members an added dimension of expertise, insights and high-level contacts through public and private sectors. All advice given by the International Advisory Board ensures that B3CF stays relevant and that we deliver the most up-to-date and focused programmes.
